| Afridi addresses About Sarfraz dropping controversy |
KARACHI: Pakistan's T20 captain Shahid Afridi tended to the debate encompassing Sarfraz Ahmed being dropped from the squad for the T20 arrangement against Sri Lanka.
Amid a news meeting for his philanthropy association, Afridi lauded Sarfraz as a valiant cricketer who could play for him at any position.
Afridi told columnists that this was the time for Pakistan to analyze before the T20 World Cup. "I had said from before that we need to expermiment."
Reacting further Shahid Afridi said Pakistan needed solid players on the opening and one down position.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has looked for an elucidation from Afridi over the choice to drop Sarfraz Ahmed from the squad.
